Always the favoured collection for our buyers at Le Louvre, the Resort 2019 collections did not disappoint.
The major highlight this season is our first edit of one of the sexiest, most feminine (AND wearable) design houses we know. DOLCE & GABBANA.
Yes!! We are the first multi brand boutique in Australia to carry the Italian historic fashion house. And we adore! Dolce and Gabbana celebrate the female form with sensuality and diversity. Plus their ambassadors are some of the most stylish international socialites at the moment including the likes of Lady Kitty Spencer.
We cannot wait to share it with you! The full collection will be available from January 2019, we will be sure to keep you posted!
So without further ado we will kick off our edit with the TOP 3 best trends we picked up at the Resort 2019 Buy.
Well, if you thought print was a passing phase you were wrong.
This season, florals in all shapes and sizes from day wear, cocktail to even bridal designs. This favoured pattern brings a lightness and youthful feel to the Resort 2019 collections.
From February 2019, Le Louvre is proud to announce it will be carrying The Row.
British Vogue describes their label as inimitably elegant, painfully chic and perpetually discreet. There’s something incredibly refreshing about the clean lines and exceptional quality of this clothing. A rediscovery of what it means to buy investment pieces that last.
The Row’s staple palette of refreshingly clean neutrals – light khaki, pristine beige, glacial white – represents the height of sophistication. Don’t worry, if you’re not a pale palette woman, we opted in for the darker colours as well!
PINK, PINK & more PINK!
“We’re aware that fashion can be relentless,” Stella McCartney explained of this season’s event, buzzing with excitement in a zipper-covered khaki pilot’s suit and transparent heels. “We just wanted everyone to have a good time.” [See full article here] Aperol spritzes, sportswear-infused suiting and platform shoes that screamed Baby Spice were on the menu.
Stella combined the launch of her womenswear with Milan Mens Fashion Week this year.
Also screaming “Baby Spice” was the colour palette at Stella’s Resort 2019 womenswear launch.
Musk, candy, rose, fuschia however you want to describe the shade of prettiness, Stella’s launch was the first foray into what will be a strong colour for all the Resort collections to come.
Ermanno Scervino, Dolce & Gabbana and even Marchesa tapped in to this colour palette for their largest and most commercial collection for the year.
Time to get your feminine on girls and be proud of it.
Never have nothing to wear again!
