We’re springing into spring with bouncy light weight knits in soft pastels and graphic lines, perfect for layering in the in-between weather. Stella McCartney features recycled cashmere with laddered effects in oversized pastels, sporty stripes and graphic animal print. Chloé does signature scallops, and Valentino adds a smattering of ‘Rockstud’ on simple crew neck cashmere.

Spring is in the air, and there is nothing fresher than an all white look as we head into warmer weather. Think crisp shirts and tailored blazers, soft blouses and slouchy singlets, and it will be summer before you know it!

Come the weekend, we’re slipping into something more comfy… Think sweatshirts, track pants (of the more glamorous variety), puffas, denim and our high tops. We’re taking style cues from fashion it-girls such as Olivia Palermo, Hanneli Mustaparta and Chiara Ferragni who have truly nailed their off-duty look.
When it comes to casual style this season, our top picks are a Valentino sweatshirt given a luxurious update with metal ‘Rockstuds’, Balmain’s slouchy ribbed track pant, everything Stella McCartney, and of course our go-to label Moncler. For accessories, we’re sporting the Chloé ‘Hudson’ bag, whose cross-body strap and tassel fringing provides the perfect combination between practical and fun.

Le Louvre had the pleasure of attending Ferrari’s exclusive Spring Racing Carnival Ladies Lunch, in the intimate private dining space at 25 Toorak Road. At a table set with beautiful Ferrari-red roses, we were tasked with presenting Spring Racing Carnival trends, in partnership with Melbourne-based milliner Louise Macdonald, to the stylish group of fashion-loving ladies.
Key trends included colour blocking with brilliant brights, pajama dressing paired with a sharp tailored blazer – a new spin on the classic Le Smoking look, turning on tonal in chic monotone, and having some fun clashing crazy prints. We presented a range of looks from Courrèges, Stella McCartney, Balmain, Chloé, Olivia von Halle and Ermanno Scervino.
